The pads wear unevenly, the brakes squeak, or one wheel gets hotter than the others. We remove the caliper and pads, clean and grease the slides, clean the pad seats and check the piston travel and boots. We agree the price before we start and send you photos of what we find.

Why service the calipers?
Dust and dirt make the slides stiff. As a result the pads wear unevenly and the wheel can overheat. Cleaning and greasing let the caliper move freely again.
How often is it needed?
It makes sense at every pad change, or whenever you notice uneven wear or squeaking.
What if a boot or the piston is damaged?
We will send photos and suggest a repair kit replacement or a caliper replacement. We replace nothing without your consent.
