A knock in the steering over bumps, heavy steering, play or fluid leaks at the front often point to a worn steering rack. We remove the old rack, fit a new or reconditioned one, and with hydraulic power steering we fill and bleed the fluid. We send photos and video of the fault and agree the price before we start, and show you the old rack afterwards.

Which is better value: replacing or reconditioning the rack?
It depends on the condition of your rack and the price of a new one for your model. After the inspection we quote both options, and you choose.
How long does the replacement take?
Usually from three hours if the rack is in stock. On some cars the subframe has to be lowered to remove the rack, which adds time.
Can I bring the car in if the steering is very heavy?
Yes, and if it is not safe to drive, we can collect your car: free in DIP and nearby areas, from AED 100 elsewhere in Dubai.
