Wheel-off brake and suspension inspection in the RHP GARAGE workshop

Wheel Alignment — with a straight steering wheel

The car pulls to one side, the steering wheel is off-centre on a straight road or the tyres wear on one edge: common signs that the wheel angles are out. We check the tyre pressures and any play in the suspension and steering, then adjust the toe and, where the car allows it, the camber. Finally, we centre the steering wheel and show you the readings before and after.

“Wheel Alignment”: from the first signs and checks to approved work and the final quality check.

What becomes clear

A straight steering wheel and angles to spec

The car tracks straight, the steering wheel is centred, and you see the angle readings before and after the adjustment.

  • Toe and camber set to the manufacturer's specification
  • A centred steering wheel when driving straight
  • Angle readings before and after the adjustment

Scope of work

The final cost depends on the model and which angles are adjustable on your car. If we find play in the suspension or steering, we show it to you first: an adjustment on worn parts does not last. Starting labour price from AED 210.

Questions before you book.

Straight answers about the inspection, approval and next step.

When do I need a wheel alignment?

After replacing tie rods, tie rod ends or control arms, after hitting a kerb hard, and when the car pulls or the tyres wear unevenly.

Usually from an hour. It takes longer if the adjustment bolts have seized.

Not always: the pull can come from the tyres or a sticking brake. In that case we show you what we found and suggest the next step.
