Manual Transmission Oil Change — with a leak check
Gears are harder to select, the gearbox hums on the move, or the scheduled oil change is due. We drain the old oil, clean the drain plug magnet, fit new plug seals and refill with oil to your gearbox's specification up to the check level. The job usually takes from an hour.

How often should manual gearbox oil be changed?
At the interval your car's manufacturer sets. If none is given and the oil hasn't been changed for a long time, it's worth doing at the next scheduled service.
Will a change help if gears are hard to select?
Sometimes, yes, if the oil is old or the wrong specification. If the cause is the clutch or synchromesh, we tell you after the change what to check next.
How long does it take?
Usually from an hour. If it is inconvenient to come in, we will collect the car: free in DIP and neighbouring areas, from AED 100 across the rest of Dubai.
