Cylinder Block Sleeving — with new sleeves
Sleeving is needed when a cylinder can no longer be bored: the oversizes are used up, or the wall has deep scoring or a crack. We bore the cylinder for a sleeve, press in a new sleeve, then bore and hone it to the piston. Before the work we send measurements and photos of the walls and agree the price.

Questions before you book.
Straight answers about the inspection, approval and next step.
How long does sleeving take?
Usually from one day per block. The exact time depends on the number of cylinders.
Do all cylinders need sleeving?
Not always. Sometimes sleeving only the damaged cylinder is enough. We decide together with you from the measurements.
Why sleeve when I could replace the block?
Sleeving usually costs less than a new block and lets you keep your own. If the block is more badly damaged, we tell you from the measurements.
