A spun bearing, a knock at the bottom of the engine and falling oil pressure often mean the main bearing housings are damaged. We remove the crankshaft, measure the housings, restore their geometry and fit new shells with correct clearances. Before the work we send photos and measurements and agree the price.

How long does it take?
Usually from three days, including strip-down, machining and reassembly.
What happens if I keep driving with a knock?
The knock quickly gets worse, and the shell can break up along with the crankshaft journal. We can collect the car: free in DIP and nearby areas, from AED 100 elsewhere in Dubai.
