Is it better to rebuild or replace the turbo?
It depends on the condition of the housing and shaft. If the turbo can be rebuilt, we quote both options and you choose.
Can I drive with a noisy timing chain?
It isn't worth putting off: a stretched chain can jump, and then the valves get damaged. Come in for a check at the first noise.
What is replaced with the timing chain?
Usually the tensioner, guides and sprockets, if they are worn. We show you their condition in photos and agree the replacement in advance.
